The Three Stooges | DVD (2012) | Will Sasso, Sean Hayes & Chris Diamantopoulos | Farrelly Brothers | 12 Cert | New & Sealed

Moe, Larry and Curly set out to save the orphanage where they grew up, but a straightforward rescue mission is never straightforward with The Three Stooges. Their efforts to protect their childhood home unleash a trail of mishaps, misunderstandings and spectacularly clumsy encounters.

Directed by Bobby and Peter Farrelly, this 2012 comedy brings the trio’s slapstick style into a feature-film adventure. Will Sasso plays Curly, Sean Hayes plays Larry and Chris Diamantopoulos plays Moe, with Jane Lynch, Larry David, Jennifer Hudson and Sofia Vergara joining the cast. The appeal is firmly in the physical humour: chaotic teamwork, broad visual gags and the Stooges’ familiar comic squabbling.
