The Gift | DVD (2000 Film) | Cate Blanchett & Keanu Reeves | Sam Raimi | Region 2 | New & Sealed

A woman’s psychic abilities draw her into the search for a missing young woman, but helping uncover the truth may place her in danger. The Gift follows Annie as an investigation becomes entangled with visions and uncertainty, bringing a supernatural dimension to a murder mystery.

Directed by Sam Raimi, this 2000 thriller stars Cate Blanchett alongside Giovanni Ribisi, Keanu Reeves, Katie Holmes, Greg Kinnear and Hilary Swank. Written by Billy Bob Thornton and Tom Epperson, the film combines the questions of a crime investigation with the unease of a protagonist whose unusual insight offers no simple protection. Its appeal is the meeting of mystery and supernatural suspense, rather than revealing the answers before you watch.
