Parenthood (DVD)

One father trying to do everything right. Four generations getting it spectacularly wrong. Steve Martin and Mary Steenburgen star in Parenthood (1989), directed by Ron Howard. Gil Buckman (Martin) tries to give his children the perfect upbringing he never had — while his sister Helen struggles as a single parent, his brother-in-law Nathan (Rick Moranis) pursues his own extreme approach to child development, and the family's wayward son Larry (Tom Hulce) returns with gambling debts. Also starring Dianne Wiest, Keanu Reeves and Jason Robards. A warm, funny and genuinely moving ensemble comedy drama. New & sealed.
