MouseHunt DVD (1998) | Nathan Lane | Lee Evans | Christopher Walken | Gore Verbinski | New & Sealed

The house is theirs. The mouse disagrees. Nathan Lane and Lee Evans star in MouseHunt (1998) on DVD. Directed by Gore Verbinski in his feature debut (before *Pirates of the Caribbean*, *The Ring* and *Rango*), the film follows brothers Ernie and Lars Smuntz who inherit a crumbling mansion worth a fortune — if they can just get rid of the mouse. They cannot get rid of the mouse. The mouse is smarter than they are. Also starring Christopher Walken as Caesar, an exterminator of supreme self-belief whose entire professional reputation is destroyed by one rodent. Walken plays it completely straight. That’s the joke. Slapstick, chaos and a mouse who wins every round. PG cert. Perfect family entertainment.
