Midnight in Paris | DVD | 2011 | Single Disc | Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams & Marion Cotillard | Woody Allen | New & Sealed

A midnight walk turns a Paris holiday into something far less ordinary in Midnight in Paris. Owen Wilson plays Gil Pender, a Hollywood screenwriter and aspiring novelist visiting the city with his fiancée Inez and her family. While Gil dreams of a more creative life, his late-night wanderings draw him into the Paris of the 1920s and the company of the writers and artists he admires.

Written and directed by Woody Allen, this 2011 romantic fantasy comedy explores the temptation to believe that happiness belongs to another time or place. With Rachel McAdams and Marion Cotillard, plus a supporting cast including Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody, Michael Sheen, Tom Hiddleston and Carla Bruni, the film balances literary encounters with Gil’s growing doubts about the future he has planned.
