Me, Myself & Irene | DVD | 2000 | Jim Carrey & Renée Zellweger | Farrelly Brothers | New & Sealed

A routine police escort spirals into a chaotic journey when mild-mannered Rhode Island state trooper Charlie Baileygates and the woman in his care, Irene, find themselves on the run. Charlie's aggressive alter ego, Hank, makes an already difficult situation even less predictable, with both sides of his character drawn to Irene.

Jim Carrey brings contrasting comic performances to Charlie and Hank, opposite Renée Zellweger as Irene. Directed by Peter and Bobby Farrelly, this 2000 comedy combines physical slapstick, crude humour and an increasingly unruly road-trip plot. Its deliberately outrageous style makes it a choice for viewers who enjoy adult comedy rather than family-friendly entertainment.
