Experience an alien invasion through music, narration and live performance with Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds: The New Generation. Recorded live at The O2 in London in 2012, this arena production brings Jeff Wayne’s interpretation of H. G. Wells’ story to the stage, with Liam Neeson providing the narration.

Jason Donovan, Marti Pellow and Ricky Wilson feature in a production that combines the dramatic scale of an arena show with the storytelling of a musical adaptation. For listeners familiar with Jeff Wayne’s concept album, this DVD offers a way to experience the story as a staged performance, rather than an audio recording alone.
