High Plains Drifter (1973) | DVD | 1 Disc | Clint Eastwood | Western | New & Sealed

A mysterious rider arrives in the frontier town of Lago in High Plains Drifter, the 1973 Western directed by and starring Clint Eastwood. Known only as the Stranger, he quickly establishes his deadly reputation. With three ruthless gunmen newly released from prison, the townspeople hire him to protect them, but their choice of defender brings unsettling demands of its own.

Co-starring Verna Bloom, Mariana Hill, Mitchell Ryan and Jack Ging, the film gives the familiar lone-gunman story a darker, more enigmatic edge. Its atmosphere of menace and moral unease makes it a distinctive Eastwood Western, where the promise of protection offers little comfort to a town with secrets.
