Death Proof DVD (2007) | Kurt Russell | Quentin Tarantino | 2-Disc Special Edition | New & Sealed

Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino as his half of the Grindhouse double feature with Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror, Death Proof stars Kurt Russell as Stuntman Mike, a psychotic stuntman who hunts women in his reinforced, "death-proof" Chevrolet — until he picks the wrong targets. A deliciously nasty slasher thriller with a genuine love for 70s exploitation cinema, it has since become one of the most widely reassessed films in Tarantino's filmography.

The film's centrepiece is an extraordinary 18-minute car chase filmed entirely without CGI, with real-life stuntwoman Zoe Bell clinging to the hood of a speeding car — one of the most celebrated practical stunt sequences in modern cinema. Rosario Dawson, Rose McGowan, Tracie Thoms, Vanessa Ferlito and Jordan Ladd round out the cast.
