Corrina, Corrina (DVD)

Los Angeles, 1959. A widower. A little girl who won't speak. And the woman who changes everything. Whoopi Goldberg and Ray Liotta star in Corrina, Corrina (1994), written and directed by Jessie Nelson. Manny Singer (Liotta), a recently widowed advertising jingle writer, struggles to reach his grieving young daughter Molly (Tina Majorino), and hires Corrina Washington (Goldberg) — a warm and spirited housekeeper who gradually draws Molly back into the world. As Corrina and Manny spend more time together, something deeper begins to grow across the racial divide of 1950s America. A gentle, beautifully performed romantic drama with a wonderful jazz and R&B period soundtrack. Also starring Don Ameche. New & sealed.
