A Chorus Line | DVD | 1985 | Michael Douglas | Richard Attenborough | New & Sealed

Behind every polished Broadway performance is a dancer hoping for one more chance. A Chorus Line brings that ambition into the spotlight as a group of performers auditions for places in a new musical, revealing the personal stories behind their carefully rehearsed steps.

Directed by Richard Attenborough and starring Michael Douglas as demanding director Zach, this 1985 musical drama adapts the celebrated stage production for the screen. The pressure of the audition meets the vulnerability of the dancers, blending performance with stories of aspiration, disappointment and dedication to their craft.
