A Fish Called Wanda | DVD (1988) | John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline & Michael Palin | 15 Cert | New & Sealed

A diamond heist should have made them rich. Instead, it gives a gang of thieves every reason to betray one another. A Fish Called Wanda follows the scheming and double-crossing that erupt after the robbery, drawing barrister Archie Leech into a tangled web of deception.

John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline and Michael Palin lead this 1988 crime comedy, directed by Charles Crichton. Its mix of clashing personalities, carefully timed misunderstandings and escalating farce keeps the stolen diamonds at the centre of a wonderfully chaotic contest of wits. Kevin Kline’s performance as Otto earned the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
