13 Ghosts (Thirteen Ghosts) | DVD (2001 Film) | Tony Shalhoub & Matthew Lillard | Steve Beck | New & Sealed

An inherited house promises a fresh start for Arthur Kriticos and his children, but their spectacular new home conceals something far more sinister. Trapped inside by shifting walls, the family finds itself confronted by powerful, vengeful spirits. 13 Ghosts, also known as Thirteen Ghosts, turns a family inheritance into a desperate struggle to escape.

Directed by Steve Beck, this 2001 supernatural horror film reimagines William Castle’s 1960 original. Tony Shalhoub, Embeth Davidtz, Matthew Lillard and Shannon Elizabeth lead a cast that also includes Rah Digga and F. Murray Abraham. The unusual house is central to the suspense: what should provide shelter becomes a threatening space, giving the ghost story a claustrophobic setting and a constant sense of uncertainty.
