Raid on Rommel | DVD | Richard Burton | Henry Hathaway WWII War Film | New & Sealed

A mission behind enemy lines takes an unexpected turn in Raid on Rommel. Richard Burton stars as British intelligence officer Captain Alex Foster, who infiltrates a German prisoner-of-war convoy during World War II. Expecting to free a group of commandos, he instead discovers that the surviving prisoners largely belong to a medical unit.

With only one commando among them, Foster must lead the men into a dangerous operation against a German stronghold. Directed by Henry Hathaway, this 1971 war film combines infiltration, improvised teamwork and military action against the backdrop of the North African campaign.
