Noah and the Whale: The First Days of Spring (CD)

Noah and the Whale's second album and one of the most affecting British indie records of the 2000s. Written by frontman Charlie Fink in the aftermath of a painful break-up, The First Days of Spring (2009) is a cohesive, orchestral indie folk suite — lush, melancholic and deeply personal — accompanied by a feature film of the same name. Features Love of an Orchestra and Blue Skies. From Mercury Records. New & sealed.
