Looney Tunes: Back in Action (DVD)

Daffy Duck gets fired. Teams up with a security guard. Chased by the entire Acme Corporation. Brendan Fraser and Jenna Elfman star in Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003), directed by Joe Dante (Gremlins, Innerspace, The ‘Burbs). Warner Bros security guard DJ Drake (Fraser) and studio executive Kate Houghton (Elfman) accidentally drag Daffy Duck into a real-world spy adventure in search of the Blue Monkey diamond, while Bugs Bunny tags along and Mr Chairman (Steve Martin) deploys the full resources of Acme Corporation to stop them. Also featuring Timothy Dalton as DJ’s father — an actual spy. Looney Tunes at their anarchic best, with Joe Dante’s sharp eye for Hollywood satire keeping the adults entertained throughout.
